RedEdge2
The red edge spectral index is a parameter used in remote sensing to describe the redness of an object’s surface. It is often used to classify vegetation or soil types and monitor changes over time. The SRI is calculated based on the ratio of red to near-infrared radiance in multispectral or hyperspectral remote sensing data. This parameter is often used in urban and environmental monitoring, crop management and land-use classification.
S = log(F2 / F1) / log(v2 / v1)
F is flux density of a band and v represents corresponding frequency
