Delivery Speed & Package
When your satellite imagery has been captured and processed, it’s delivered to you as a complete package. In this section, we’ll explain the different delivery speed options which you can choose while placing a tasking order, what’s included in the delivered package, and some important validations—especially for recurring orders.
What is Delivery Speed?
Delivery speed determines how quickly you receive your imagery after capture. Your choice here can impact both your workflow and your budget. You can choose from the following options:
-
Standard Delivery: Ideal for routine orders where timing is flexible.
- Timeframe: 36 hours from the time of capture.
- Price Uplift: No additional cost.
-
Expedited Delivery: When you need images faster than usual.
- Timeframe: 24 hours from capture.
- Price Uplift: 20% increase in price.
Validations for Delivery Speed
While you can choose from two delivery speed options, there are some validations based on the type of tasking order you’re placing.
For Recurring Orders — Weekly and Once in Two Weeks, the delivery speed is fixed to Standard (36 hours) only.
This means that the Expedited Delivery option will not be visible in the UI, and when ordering through APIs, any attempt to select Expedited will be overridden by the system to Standard.
What’s Included in the Delivered Package?
Once processed, your imagery is bundled into a zipped package that includes:
-
Stacked GeoTIFF Image: A high-resolution raster image file that includes all the spectral bands you ordered in UTM projection.
-
RGB Composite Thumbnail: A quick, visual preview of the captured image in JPEG format.
-
ENVI Compatible Header File: A header file to help you work with the GeoTIFF in popular geospatial software.
-
Footprint GeoJSON: Provides the spatial footprint of the image in GeoJSON format containing all the points.
-
Metadata File: An XML file containing detailed metadata about the image capture, such as capture date, sensor details, processing and copyright information.
