Before placing a **tasking** or **recurring** order, you’ll see a **“Check Feasibility”** button on the Tasking Dashboard. This step ensures that your chosen parameters—such as AOI, capture window, off-nadir angle, and cloud cover—are practical for our satellites to fulfill. It also helps you make any necessary adjustments before you finalize and pay for your order.

### Why Feasibility Matters

- **Real-Time Guidance:**
By running a feasibility check, you receive immediate feedback on whether your requested parameters can be met.
- **Save Time & Resources:**
We only accept orders that are likely to succeed, sparing you from paying for an unfulfillable capture.
- **Weather & Conflicts:**
Feasibility also factors in potential scheduling conflicts, weather constraints, and geometric considerations.

### Possible Outcomes

When you click **“Check Feasibility”**, you’ll see one of three messages:

1. **Order is feasible with selected parameters**
   - **Meaning:**
Your requested capture window, AOI, and other settings are all valid. Our satellite can likely capture your imagery as specified.
   - **Action:**
Proceed to add the order to your cart or finalize it.

2. **Order is not feasible with selected parameters**
   - **Meaning:**
Something in your parameters (like an overly tight off-nadir angle or extremely restrictive cloud cover) prevents us from capturing your imagery.
   - **Action:**
Adjust your parameters based on the feedback (e.g., widen your capture window, allow slightly more cloud cover) and check feasibility again.

3. **Feasibility has failed. Reach out to support@pixxel.space**
   - **Meaning:**
The system can’t fulfill your order with the current parameters. You can try changing them, or if you’re set on those requirements, contact our support team to explore possible alternatives.

### Recurring Orders & Feasibility

For **recurring tasking** orders, the feasibility check works in two stages:

- **At Order Placement:**
Only the **first occurrence** is checked for feasibility. If it’s feasible, you can place the order, and the order moves to an active state.
- **For Future Occurrences:**
About **5 days before** each new capture window, we automatically run a feasibility check for that occurrence.
  - **If Feasible:** The task moves to “Submitted” and payment is deducted.
  - **If Not Feasible:** The task is canceled, and you’re **not charged** for that occurrence.

### Important Note

Even if an order or task is deemed feasible, **it does not guarantee** complete fulfillment. Unexpected weather changes, scheduling constraints, or other factors can still affect the capture. Feasibility is our best attempt to guide you toward successful parameters but doesn’t promise a 100% outcome.
